Best music festival ever in Australia!?

With different people comes different taste into music. So what do you think the best music festival in Australia is!? There are so many like... 'Stereosonic, Splendour in the Grass, Defqon and many more.' My personal favourite is Defqon which involves multiple genres of music, mainly 'Hardstyle.' Defqon brings many people across the world together and dance to music over 150bpm, where the music itself is so dynamic and vibrant. Who agrees with me!? :)

Taylor Swift wins Taylor Swift award

On Tuesday, Taylor attended the BMI (  Broadcast Music, Inc Pop Awards in Beverly Hills, where she received the first-ever Taylor Swift award for her creative and artistic talent and influence. Her influence has been major, in total Taylor has won 270 awards and been nominated for 565. So when the BMI Pop Awards decided to name an award the Taylor Swift Award, it was kind of obvious that they were going to give the award to Taylor Swift. So really, Taylor won and award for winning awards?  Taylor got an awesome standing ovation when she was presented with her self-named award. “This is just an unbelievable night,” she said “I have this issue called songwriting … I know you have it too” before thanking everyone in the house.

The fact that the BMI pop Awards named an awards after her is a BIG deal, this is only the second time ever that organization has presented an award in an artist’s name. Michael Jackson in 1990 was the first person have a BMI award named after their own name.

Along with wining the BMI award, Taylor had four of the year's most-performed songs, which earned her the "pop songwriter of the year" prize. These songs are  Bad Blood, Blank Space, Style and Wildest Dreams.

Why teach music ?

Why music is teaching at schools ? Teaching music at schools is not only because of making fun or not expect you to sing or play in your life , it is because of teaching kids how to recognize the beauty, learn to have more love and gentleness. Music can be helpful in developing kid`s mind, body and spirt. it supports many important parts of development such as learning, language and literacy and social, emotional development. This is why it`s good to teach music to a child at school and it can be beneficial for kid`s development.

My 1st Concert Experience!

My first ever concert was Bruno Mars’ “Moonshine Jungle Tour”.  It was the 8th of March 2014, and I could not have been more excited to see my favourite artist perform.

I’ll never forget the rush, when he first appeared on stage. The crowd went absolutely wild, and the whole time the arena was filled with people singing and dancing to all of his catchy tunes. From his opening song Moonshine right until the end, he delivered what I would consider to be one of the best live shows on the planet.

After his hour and a half set, he finished with his smash hit “Just the way you are,” the song that launched his career. If that wasn’t enough, he re-emerged for and encore performance of “Locked Out of heaven”, which literally electrified the crowd to the point where there was a wave of people pushing through the crowd. Confetti canons exploded pouring golden cello goodness all over the audience.  He certainly did not disappoint; it truly was a fantastic evening!

Eurovision winner announced!

It has been a amazing season for Eurovision this year and it has finally come to a great conclusion. The winner has been announced which was! UKRAINE! with a amazing 534 points. Unfortunately Australian contestant Dami Im missed out on first place with 511 points but was still able to achieve a proudly earned second place. This goes to show how Australian talent is way up there with the rest of the world or even better! In my honest opinion I do prefer the song sung by Dami I'm "Sound of Silence" over the Ukraine winner song "1944". Dami Im "Sound of Silence" is currently number 2 as well on the iTunes Charts most downloaded just under Calvin Harris's song where as "1944" isn't even on there. Nothertheless Ukraine performance was definitely spectacular and we'll be watching next year for the next year of Eurovision.     44648952 Fabian Loy
