Splendour in the Grass 2k16 is being help in Byron Bay in the North Byron Parklands on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of July. This year organisers have outdone themselves and people are getting really excited! The major names in this years line up will encourage a new demographic of more rock-heavy festivalgoers with name such as The New York rockers, The Strokes and the The Avalanches ( see bottom for the rest of the line up). Although, Splendour in the grass is not only a music festival but it also offers, splendour arts, splendour in the craft, Little splendour and Grill’d.
Splendour arts is an exciting expo where innovative contemporary artists show their artforms ranging from performance, painting, installation, video art and sculpture which will occupy spaces throughout the site of the festival. Keep you eyes peeled for some unexpected and crazy stuff!

Splendour in the craft is a craft oasis consisting of glitter, pom poms, body paint and hot glue guns! All workshops are free, so if you’ve got some free time between the awesome line up, head down to Splendour In The Craft to get your creative juices flowing as well as get some of your mending done!
Little splendour is a mini festival within Splendour in the grass especially for kids! . Fully fenced and secured, Little Splendour is designed exclusively for parents, carers and children to relax, play and unleash their creative spirit.
Grill’d is making an appearance to Splendour in the grass this year, serving their tasty burgers. All burger ingredients are locally sourced and are of premium quality. Make sure to pay Grill’d a visit! You won’t be disappointed.
